Hezekiah shows the envoy from Babylon all his treasures and Isaiah tells Hezekiah that the Babylonians will be back for them later. The King is happy it will occur after he's dead.
Future Restoration/Empire/Kingdom of God: 42:1-4=13 Future Judgment (Israel): 42:14-25 "He will bring forth justice to the nations.... He will faithfully bring forth justice.... He will not be disheartened or crushed, until he has established justice in the earth" (42: 1-4). "A bruised reed He will not break" (42:3). None of this sounds like the reign of usury. "I will appoint you as a covenant to the people (Israel), as a light to the nations (the Gentiles)" (42:6).
Future Restoration/Kingdom of God (Judah): 40:1-31 "All the nations are as nothing before Him, they are regarded by Him as less than nothing and meaningless" (40:17).
